Living-room: in the time of Corona
In line with other self-contained visitor accommodation across Wales we opened on 13th July 2020 and have had an amazing Summer. However we are now going in to a second Welsh lockdown, and re-opening on Monday 9th November.
Living-room nestles in wide-open landscape - full of fresh air, beautiful woods, pure mountain streams and offering the ultimate luxury … space.
Off grid, and far from the madding crowd; the chance to breathe deeply and relax.
So – if you are looking for something to blow the cobwebs away, reset your world, and turn the legacy of these difficult times into positive and enduring memories, check out our availability calendar.
There has been very little instance of Corona Virus in this remote area. And, when we re-open in November, we ask that, if you live in an area that has travel restrictions imposed due to the virus, or if you have any symptoms of corona virus, you don't travel to the treehouses.
living-room - deep in the heart of nature
When you come to stay at living-room, you will be living in comfort deep in the heart of the natural environment.
You will not have neighbours, there aren't any shared facilities - you will be staying in a fully functioning home in the treetops.
We have a self-check-in system – you will be able to walk to your treehouse, with the people you love, without assistance from us.
Most guests do not leave living-room during their stay – the walks through secret valleys are gorgeous and the treehouses are a wonderful place to relax, with the people you love, in a truly inspiring place.
This is a self-catering holiday – so bring plenty of food and drink, and enjoy a complete break from the outside world, high in the tree-tops.
We are all about the details, in everything we do, and our cleaning regime is based on current scientific recommendations, for your peace of mind while staying with us.
We are rigorous in every aspect of our maintenance and cleaning protocols – using high grade cleaning products throughout.
We are a tiny company, with 100s of returning guests, and we care hugely about the health and well-being of our community.
We come from a science-based background, and our cleaning regime follows current scientific advice to the letter.
Living-room treehouses were created to offer complete escape and immersion in the heart of the natural environment – something needed more than ever in the times through which we are living.
We ask guests not to travel if feeling unwell - and if possible to check their temperature before travelling
Please do not travel to the treehouses if you live in a area where travel restrictions are in place
We have contactless check-in and check-out, ensuring you will not meet other guests during your stay (this is generally the case at living-room!)
We only have 6 treehouses, on our 250 acre farm. This means, with a small number of guests on site, social distancing is completely normal
Our staff work work together in bubbles, have appropriate PPE where necessary and know not to work if they are unwell
Our treehouses have gorgeous airflow, hard surfaces and we replace bedding between guests
We have a 24hr contact number for guests to call or text - reducing the requirement for face-to-face contact
We provide hand sanitiser in treehouses and at common touch points to help guests practise good hygiene
We have regular and enhanced (clean then disinfect) cleaning schedules, using disinfectant sprays
We offer the option to have grocery boxes delivered to the treehouse
